We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. As civilian areas and hospitals become targets of the assault, we are witnessing crimes against humanity. There is no justification for this indiscriminate attack meant to topple a nation. We pray for an end to this carnage - Staff of BCRHHR

Advocacy
BCRHHR professionals have been involved in a variety of advocacy initiatives including increased access to female immigration officers for survivors of sexual violence, elimination of the United State’s role in torture and moderation of the Real ID act.
One of our focuses has been to provide holistic services to unaccompanied minors seeking asylum and expediting family reunification after asylum approval. We have also advocated for the reduction of the 150 day wait for authorization to work.
